Why should I aerate?

Soil quality can be greatly improved by consistent aeration.
Particularly in Alabama where much of our soil is red clay – soil becomes compacted blocking air, water and nutrients from reaching roots.

The aeration process creates 2-3 inch deep holes in soil, not only relieving compaction, but also improving drainage and the amount of oxgyen reaching the roots.

A consistent aeration process (optimally three times per year)
will lead to a deeper, healthier root system.
